The ability to award Association scholarships is based on the generosity of the donor(s) who contributed to the fund. It is therefore expected that recipients will recognize this generosity, and the contribution that the scholarship funds will make towards their post- secondary goals, through a letter of thanks from the recipient to the donor(s) and a virtual thank you or in person thank you when possible. The letter of thanks to the donor(s) should be received by the Association no later than 30 September of the academic year in which the scholarship funds have been received.
It is important that our generous donors see how their contributions are being awarded. To this end Scholarship Program marketing will be done via newsletter, website or other member communications.
To ensure that current and potential donors understand the impact and value of scholarships, as part of receiving an MAA/NLCSB scholarship, scholarship recipients agree that their name, rank, corps, as well as the name of the post- secondary institution and program of study that they will attend, as well as their photos may be shared through Scholarship Program marketing.
For any general questions, please direct them to a corps officer. For information about the application process, or criteria, please contact the Scholarship committee at csrpmaanlcsb@gmail.com.
